ESF understands that supplying a complete, ready to use part is critical for our customers including providing a full range of chemical finishes to meet your exacting specifications.
Our in-house, conveyorized chemical finishing line includes a “No-Chrome”, RoHS compliant Clear Chem Film for aluminum and RoHS compliant Iron Phosphate for steel.
In-House Chemical Finishing:
- Clear or Yellow Chem film to MIL-DTL-5541, Type I & II, Classes 1A & 3
- Protective and decorative finishes to aluminum as final coating or base coating for paint and powder.
- Consistent plating color and protection with rigidly controlled chemicals, heat, and conveyor speed.
- Cleaning and etching treatment for quality welding and spot welding of aluminum.
- Iron Phosphate to MIL-TT-C-490 C Type 2 for an excellent, low-cost pretreatment for paint or powder.
Zinc Plating, Passivation, Electro-Polish, Anodizing and an Array of other finishes:
- Clear or Yellow Zinc plating of steel for corrosion protection or decorative finish.
- Passivation of Stainless Steel (various processes dependent on grade of stainless steel)
- Electro-Polish of Stainless Steel
- Clear / Black / Color Anodizing of aluminum for cosmetic or non-conductive purposes.
- Hard Coat Anodize
- Tin, Electro and Electroless Nickel Plate, Silver and Gold Plating
