WE SPECIALIZE IN TIG and MIG WELDING (Manual & Robotic)
Whether your project requires TIG or MIG welding, Electro-Space’s welders are highly skilled craftsmen with years of experience. Each welder is a specialist in maintaining close tolerances and squareness while controlling heat distortion and assuring weld integrity. We specialize in enclosures, chassis, weldments, control panels and similar items requiring a “molded”, intricately contoured appearance.
In addition to 5 manual welding booths for prototype and lower production quantities, ESF utilizes a state-of-the art Dual Robotic Welding Cell, which includes a 6 Axis Welding Arm and Dual Tilt/Turn Positioners. The dual positioners can tilt parts -135° to +135° with 400° degrees of rotation, with a maximum payload of 600 lbs. The cell allows for maximum productivity by allowing the operator to load a part on one side while the machine is simultaneously welding another part on the other side.

With automated systems, we ensure every weld is done with precision, eliminating inconsistencies. SPOTWELDING – Technology meets Art
ESF has a complete array of state-of-the-art equipment for spot welding aluminum and steel up to 1/8-inch thick and apply perfect weld nuggets that can withstand pull tests up to 2,000 pounds—a definite advantage in rugged and hostile environments. To assure high-quality and consistency, we use 3-phase Sciakys, ranging from 75 to 200 KVA. The machines are outfitted with computer controlled software monitoring each millisecond of each weld for parameters such as Current, Force, Time and Displacement. The software also features specialized adaptive welding which monitors the actual weld in real time, with current being automatically adapted to maintain a controlled welding process for each weld. All operations are based upon MIL-W-6858 D.
We also perform and document destructive pull tests on all spot-welded setups and in-process inspections to guarantee consistent quality results.
