ESF has added a new ARKU FlatMaster 55-165 Precision Leveling machine to our fabrication capabilities. The FlatMaster produces flat and leveled sheets and plates, as well as punched, stamped, laser and plasma cut parts almost entirely free of internal stresses.

Specifications:

• Material Thickness:  0.02” up to 0.59”
• Passage Width:  Up to 65”
• Minimum Length:  3.94” (no maximum length)
• Materials:  All types of metals (aluminum, steel, stainless steel, galvanneal, copper, brass, etc.)
• Tolerances:  As low as 0.010”.

Why Important to our Customers:

• Dead flat parts are often critical to the optimal functionality of our customer’s equipment.
• Parts with significant perforations can be efficiently leveled and stress relieved.
• For parts that are machined, starting with flat and stress relieved parts is critical to be able to maintain precise counterboring, countersinking and other plunge cutting dimensions.
• Subsequent bending and welding operations are more precise with flat/stress relieved parts.

How does it work?

19 precision ground rollers create alternating bends in the material to level and stress relieve sheets or parts. The machine weighs over 37,000 lbs (18 ½  tons) – providing stability and enabling precise leveling.
