ESF introduces our new ARKU EdgeBreaker 6000 deburring and finishing machine.
The EdgeBreaker 6000 is a three-stage power-house machine providing grinding, uniform rounding of edges and inner contours, and consistent surface finish (straight line or random swirl).
Specifications:
- Material Thickness: 0.04” up to 0.98” (thinner thicknesses possible with fixture)
- Passage Width: Up to 51”
- Minimum Part dimension: 2” x 2” station 2 and 2” x 10” station 1 & 3 (smaller parts possible with fixture)
- Materials: aluminum, steel, stainless steel, copper (edge rounding up to .075” radius is possible)

- Smooth edge parts prevent potential wire abrasion and other wear issues to mating sub parts.

How does it work?
Three stage process with ability to turn on/off any stage for best process depending on part and desired finish.
- Stage 1: Deburring and grinding belts remove burrs, material imperfections or laser slag
- Stage 2: Rotary brushes (8) rotate in various directions to uniformly edge round holes, cutouts and edges
- Stage 3 – Straight line surface finishing utilizing soft fleece belts (still maintaining edge round features)
